She is a former vice president of a global financial services firm, an entrepreneur and author of three books. A Purse of Your Own, Confident Investing and Nickel and Dime Your Way to Wealth.  Wealthy women think, act and view the world differently and she will share how you can grow your business and be financially successful. 

We will learn how to:

·       Achieve financial security on any income

Additional Guest Speakers and workshops will include: How to Start a Business, Women & Relationships, Personality Assessments and a full networking experience. 

It will conclude with an elegant banquet honoring four (4) longstanding women as small business owners of our territory, namely Mrs. Erica Donovan of “Ricky’s Diner”; Mrs. Velma George of “Orchid Boutique”; Mrs. Rosemarie W. Parson of “Rose’s Fabric & Craft Shop Inc” and Ms. Lorna Webster of “Private Collections” & “Blooming Things”.

Our goal is to make this an annual event and continue to honor successful women entrepreneurs worthy of this honor.

Virgin Islands Businesses, Financial Institutions, EDC Participants, Non-Profit Organizations, Institutions of Higher Learning, Vendors, Developers and Individuals from Public and Private Sectors are invited to participate in this celebration of the Women in Small Businesses of the US Virgin Islands, while promoting economic development through collaborations.

It is a women retreat but men are certainly welcomed.

 The Purpose of these Events:

·         Promote business to business opportunities

·         Offer a Successful, Motivational, Positive and Inspirational Community Event

·         Recognize and Celebrate Woman in Small Business

·         Encourage Female to pursue entrepreneurship
